Don't Tread On Me is a distinguished Marine design to be worn proudly. This buckle is about 3 1/2" by 2 1/2". It's Marine flag design was originally designed by American general and politician, Christopher Gadsden. He designed it in 1775 during the American Revolution. It was used by the Continental Marines as an early motto flag.
